Instructions for downloading/printing maps

1. Right click on the map link and select “save as” or “save target as” depending on your browser

2. Select where you want to save your file (generally My Documents on Windows operating systems)

3. Open the file with your preferred image viewing software (not your web browser)

4. Click File and then Print

Depending on what software you’re using there should be an option to “Fit image to page” that you will have to click on

Alternately, you may request a paper copy of the map from the Town Clerk. When performing this exercise, please follow the instructions given in the PowerPoint presentation, which begin on page 22. The Town will be hosting a Cognitive Mapping Meeting at the Town Hall on June 15, 2010 at 7:00 pm. Please join us for snacks and refreshments as we discuss future planning and land use goals for our community.

2010 Smart Growth Review Updates

The land use survey was mailed to all property owners on Monday, March 22, 2010. If you would like a second survey for your household, please either email or call the Town Office (920) 839-9509. It has been brought to our attention that there is some question as to whether or not the survey is truly anonymous, since there is an address label on the back side and a serial number on the front. This was an oversight, and we apologize for any inconvenience. Please be assured that the results will remain truly anonymous. Our consultant, Jeffrey Sanders, will be the one actually opening the envelopes and tabulating the results. As he opens them, he will either be peeling off the sticker, or blacking it out with permanent marker. Please feel free, however, to peel off the sticker or mark it yourself. Please do not black out the serial number, as it is being used to ensure that duplicate surveys are not being submitted.

Also, please note that, with bulk rate mailings, the Post Office does not allow items to be forwarded. If you currently have your Baileys Harbor mail forwarded somewhere else, please contact the Town Office at (920) 839-9509 so we can make sure you get a survey.

Kick-Off Meeting Date Set

The Kick-Off Meeting will be held on Thursday, May 6, 2010 at 7:00PM in the auditorium of the Town Hall.

These ordinances, resolutions, and motions, enacted by the citizens and Town Board of Baileys Harbor, Wisconsin, govern the life in Baileys Harbor Township.

Baileys Harbor is also governed by Door County regulations which are available at the office of the Door County Clerk in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin.
